Al-Taj News – U.S. President Donald Trump posted, through his personal account on the “Truth Social” platform, an image created using artificial intelligence showing a U.S. fighter jet carrying out a bombing raid on Iran’s vital Kharg Island.
Follow-up reports indicated that the posting of the image comes at a pivotal moment in the U.S.-Iranian confrontation, and two days after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it had targeted six ships and oil tankers—three of them American—in addition to targeting an American fighter jet and aircraft carrier in the Strait of Hormuz, prefacing its remarks by recalling similar precedents involving Trump’s threats.
The move recalls the last time Trump posted a similar digital threat, which was followed that same night by a large-scale U.S. air campaign targeting several sites in Iran, involving nearly 100 airstrikes, while Vice President J.D. Vance warned that Trump’s posts should be taken seriously.
This strong military hint points to the possibility that the confrontation could expand to Iranian energy facilities and strategic infrastructure, heightening the risks in one of the world’s most important oil transit routes.
